So i let my brother borrow my vehicle for the week.
I have a work vehicle and he recently lost his vehicle temporarily in an accident.

Took mine to the dealer and the quoted me 5400 and unlimited completion time.

If issue still present and inputs from switch and power ground supply are normal sunroof motor will need to be replaced.
Then it wouldn t open again.
After inspection i think this is an oversight in design with models that have the mysky.
Try resetting modules motors by disconnecting both battery cables and touching ends together for 2 minutes.
Voila re initializing process is.
Its not really a fix.
So i went through the re initializing process again.

You probably broke the 2 tabs that push pull the roof to slide it open close.

You need to replace the whole mysky from what ive seen.
I have 2016 limited with the power mysky and side rails.
Put all my weight on the back bar until it latched on both sides.

I ve had it for about 3 weeks and opened the windows after a day of raining and in came the flood.
This morning he texted me and asked how to close the sunroof saying he accidentally hit the button however now it won t close it just goes halfway and re open.
Worked out for me.
If it s an option go for it even just the power option for a large sunroof is something that is really nice at any time.
